Genre Snobs
Posted in General Comments with tags band bashing, emo band, heavy metal, mtv, music, music genre, radio on March 29, 2008 by totahadminFor a long time I used to bash pop music, but I am learning to listen to it for what it was originally intended. Pop artists used to perform for the joy of music and there is a hint of that joy in the music they play on the radio and MTV.
The other day I heard a metal head bashing an “emo” band. When you take the label from the music you can’t even tell the difference between metal and the so called “emo” band that he was bashing.
So to all you genre snobs… pull your head out and stop being afraid of what your friends might think when they see Air Supply on your iPod.
